Dr. Aisa Sendijarevic has authored over 80 technical articles (papers, conference proceedings) and 14 US patents. Over 35 years of research experience in isocyanate-based polymers and polyurethanes.
Aisa’s research experience includes development of novel materials for medical, space, automotive, transportation, and other industries. Specific interests include kinetics and mechanisms of isocyanate reactions; syntheses of polyurethanes of designed chemical structure and properties; morphology and structure property relationships in polyurethanes. Her expertize include performance evaluation of novel polyurethane raw materials, including polyols (bio-based, polycarbonate, hydrocarbon, etc.) and synthesis of polyester polyols.

She was organizer of Polyurethane Elastomer Workshops sponsored by the University of Detroit Mercy and it has been continuously involved in polyurethanes hands-on training of professional/scientist in polyurethanes.
